| Haiti Earthquake | |
One of the biggest disasters so far this year is not politics or some
diva's dog dying, the disaster I am talking about is the earthquake
that happened in Haiti January 12, 2010. In this earthquake, one third
of Haiti's population has died so far and everyone else isn't very good
off. The people of Haiti have received aid from people all around the
world these last few weeks but they still need more. There are stars
like Justin Timberlake, Bon Jovi, and Angelina Jolie helping Haiti out
and not even they have raised all of the money that Haiti needs. No one
realizes that Haiti may be very poor now, but they were just as poor
before the earthquake. I just hope that everyone realizes that all
people bleed red and we are all sons and daughters of God and that
makes us family, and if your family needs you, you help them. And if
you can't help Haiti financially, then at least keep them in your
prayers and thoughts because I bet that they would appreciate that as
much as a bottle of water.
